To sum up my vision of travel-
S e h n s u c h t (n.) Origin: German Definition: A wistful longing and yearning in the heart for travels past and future.
When one returns from traveling and wish that they could do it all over again and experience every moment like it was the first.
To you this may sound odd because you have never traveled; or you may identify because you have explored once, twice or are travel seasoned!
I was blessed in serving our country and traveled throughout the globe for over 25 years. These travels brought me off the beaten path to see both the bad and good of this world. It is those lessons that have molded me to be a better advocate for my travelers.
Along the way, I have been joined by my amazing husband of 32+ years and two (now) adult children. I have visited the Louvre with a 3-year old on our shoulders and dove on the reefs with teenagers.
Now, my travels are with my husband and friends. We love river cruises and trips throughout Europe; exploring every faucet of Alaska ..... but a nice beach in the winter is never a complaint.
What does that tell you as the traveler- My knowledge is genuine and true. This equates to worldly experience and the desire to help guide you in exploring this amazing gift we have been given.
